CM-Nanny at home
As a caregiver, you might want to visit friends or simply get away for a bit. That's why CM-Oppas offers in-home care for the chronically ill, the elderly, or people with disabilities. This service is available daytime, evening, and nighttime.
CM offers babysitting at a competitive rate of €3.50 per hour. This follows the rate established by the Flemish Agency for Care and Health .
The sitter:
- provides company, supervision and ensures a pleasant pastime;
- helps with limited movement in and around the house;
- takes on a limited number of tasks such as heating meals, helping with eating and going to the toilet;
- does not perform household or nursing tasks, and may not assist with the administration of medication;
- In case of emergency, contact the family, the GP or the emergency services.

The babysitting takes place in a home situation (also for people who have a short stay or live in an assisted living facility).

When you first register, you'll receive an appointment note . This will outline the terms and our working method.
Do you have a complaint?
Contact your contact person at CM or let us know via www.cm.be/klachten . Your feedback helps us improve our service. We guarantee an initial response within seven days and a full handling of your complaint within thirty days.
Automatic refund
For night care organized by CM-oppas starting January 1, 2024, the CM night care benefit will be automatically reimbursed after you pay your invoice. As a CM member, you no longer need to submit invoices for this.
Certified babysitting service
The "CM-Oppas aan huis" service is recognized and subsidized by the Flemish government under the Residential Care Decree. It operates according to the principles of integrated quality management.
