Day care center
Anyone who requires care and is cared for at home can go to a day care center during the day.
Most day care centers provide care from Monday to Friday.
CM will reimburse you for this care of 5 euros per full day or 2.50 euros per half day. (Half a day means: day care for at least two hours, but less than five hours.)
- For care until December 31, 2023, you will receive up to a maximum of 100 full days per year.
- For care from January 1, 2024* you can be reimbursed up to 420 euros for day care, short stay and night care together.
Send the invoice to CM
Provide the invoice from the day care center with a yellow sticker of the person staying there. You do this via a CM mailbox or the My CM app.
You will receive your refund
CM will deposit the amount of the refund into your account.
What are the conditions?
- You are a member of CM.
- You stay in a recognized day care center:
- center recognized by the Flemish government in the context of the residential care decree:
- center recognized by CM and not by the Flemish Agency for Persons with Disabilities (VAPH).
* Subject to approval by the Health Insurance Fund Control Service.
