- Fill in the registration form with your details.
- We will then contact you and arrange your affiliation.
- You are affiliated with another health insurance fund
- Fill in the registration form with your details.
- CM will take care of the switch with your previous health insurance fund.You don’t need to do anything.
- You are a dependent at CM and want to join CM in your own name.
- Fill in the registration form with your detail.
- We will contact you as soon as possible and arrange your affiliation.
- You are an international student or expat.
Have you come to Belgium as a student or expat and are you connected to a school or university?
Then you need to join a health insurance.- Fill in the form with your personal details.
- You will then receive an email with all the necessary documents.
- We will also send you a clear step-by-step guide to help you with your registration.
CM cancels your current health insurance fund for you. You don’t need to arrange anything yourself.
- Have you never been registered with a health insurance fund as a beneficiary? Then you’ll be covered as soon as your registration is completed.
- Are you switching from another health insurance fund?
You can register at any time.
However, your switch to CM will only take effect on the 1th of January, the 1th of April, the 1th of July, or the 1th of October.To make this happen, we need to receive your registration no later than the 4th of the month before.- Example:

Yes. You can take out an additional insurance at any time, such as CM-Hospital Plan, CM-Hospital Plan Plus, or CM-MediKo Plan.

Yes. You can easily add your children and dependents to your plan.
- Children are registered free of charge and automatically receive the same coverage as you. They can stay enrolled as a “dependent child” with one of the parents up to the age of 25.
- Were you previously affiliated with another health insurance fund? Then your children will be automatically transferred as well.
- Joining a health insurance fund for the first time? Be sure to include your children on the registration form.
- Do you have CM-Hospital Plan, CM-Hospital Plan Plus, or CM-MediKo Plan? Then children up to the age of three are insured free of charge.
