CM cancels your current health insurance for you. You don't have to arrange anything yourself.
- Have you never previously been affiliated with a health insurance fund as an eligible person? Then you are affiliated as soon as your registration is in order.
- Are you coming from another health insurance fund? Then you can register at any time.
However, the switch to CM only takes effect on January 1, April 1, July 1, or October 1 .

Yes. As a CM member, you can always take out additional insurance. Do you want hospitalization insurance? Then choose CM-Hospitaalplan or CM-Hospitaalplan Plus for broader reimbursement. Do you want insurance for medical expenses without hospitalization? Then CM-MediKo Plan is the right choice for you.

Yes. You can easily add your children and dependents.
- Children are enrolled for free, and they automatically receive the same services and benefits as you. Until the age of 25, children can remain enrolled with one of their parents as a 'dependent'.
- Were you previously a member of another health insurance fund ? Then the children will be automatically included.
- Are you joining a health insurance fund for the first time ? You must definitely mention this to the children on the registration form.
- Do you have CM-Hospitaalplan, CM-Hospitaalplan Plus, or CM-MediKo Plan? Then children are insured free of charge up to and including the third calendar year .
- Dependents follow the same arrangement, as long as they meet the conditions.
