Physiotherapy: consultative examination
You can perform a consultative physiotherapy examination before a treatment is prescribed.
The application rules for the consultative study are stated in art. 7, §3 bis 2° of the nomenclature.
What is the procedure?
The consultative examination must be prescribed by the treating physician. The research is not mandatory for prescribing, performing or reimbursing treatment.
After the examination, you must submit your findings and a proposal for possible treatment in writing to the treating physician.
The prescription for the treatment must not refer to the consultative examination.
Maximum amount
You may only charge for the consultative examination once per pathology (current, treatment F-acute or serious condition).
