Ready to help build internal communication with impact?
For the 2026–2027 academic year, we are looking for an Internal Communication intern (2nd or 3rd year bachelor) with an innovative communication profile. You will contribute to internal communication projects and events so that everyone at CM understands what we stand for and the direction we are heading in. You’ll have the opportunity to shape your internship based on your own interests.
Are you a student who:
- can work independently and dares to take initiative;
- is creative and enjoys translating ideas into concrete actions and communications for employees;
- has some experience with one of the following: creating videos, podcasts, storytelling or community building (broadly interpreted – this can include personal, academic or association experience);
- enjoys a mix of thinking and doing;
- is flexible and willing to travel to different regions;
- wants to grow together with us – and yes, we mean that both ways. 😉

- You will join the consultant team of CM-gezondheidpunt Leuven. You help our members through various channels with various questions about all domains of CM. You discover the different facets of health insurance, build up knowledge and apply it in practice. In addition to direct member contacts, you perform administrative tasks.
- Minimum number of days per week: 4.
CM’s Social Work service provides first-line support and assistance to people who experience difficulties with self-reliance due to illness, disability or old age.
As a social worker, you support and guide people with chronic illnesses, persons with disabilities, and care-dependent elderly people living at home. Together with informal caregivers, you look for tailored solutions, with the aim of enabling them to live as long as possible, independently and with quality, in their familiar home environment.
For the 2026–2027 academic year, we offer internships in various regions. You will work in at least one of these primary care zones. Your base CM office will be determined together.
West Flanders
- Primary Care Zone Central West Flanders, Kortrijk region, Menen region or Waregem region
East Flanders
- Primary Care Zone Ghent, East Meetjesland, West Meetjesland or Scheldekracht
Flemish Brabant
- Primary Care Zone BraVio or Zenne Valley
Antwerp
- Primary Care Zone Klein-Brabant Vaartland, Mechelen-Katelijne, Pallieterland, Rupelaar or Voorkempen
- Primary Care Zone Kempenland, North Antwerp or Noorderkempen
- Primary Care Zone Baldemore, Bonstato, Middenkempen or Zuiderkempen
Who are we looking for?
- Bachelor students in Social Work. If you are in your second year, you are willing to also complete your third-year internship with us.
- Graduate (associate degree) students in Social Work: only second-year students are eligible. Ideally, you already have relevant work experience.
- You are able to travel flexibly within the region for home visits. Preferably, you have a car and a driving licence.
