Home nursing
If you need nursing care, you can call on a home nursing service or an independent home nurse.
The home nurse can perform a wide range of nursing assignments, such as general care, wound care, giving injections, placing enemas, administering infusions or tube feeding, care for bladder tubes and stoma.
In most situations, payment for care is made directly by CM.

Contact Wit-Gele Kruis in Flanders (not for residents of Brussels). The exchanges can be reached by telephone day and night. Care is provided between 7:30 a.m. and 9 p.m.
Or another service
You can also rely on another home nursing service or an independent nurse. You can find nurses from your region in our module 'Looking up healthcare providers'. You will find out, among other things, which nurses respect the official rates.
What are the conditions?
- Home care is provided on the basis of a prescription from the attending physician.
- You do not need a doctor's prescription for toilet care alone. Materials used must be provided or paid for.
