Survey on maternity leave
CM Gezondheidsfonds, in collaboration with the Gezinsbond and la Ligue des familles, is conducting a survey into women’s experiences during their maternity leave and their return to work afterwards.
What do mothers think of the length of their maternity leave? How did they experience this period? And how did they find returning to work afterwards?
How is the survey being carried out?
Around 45,000 people will be contacted by email to take part in an online survey. This survey is available in Dutch and French.
Who is taking part in this survey?
Survey participants will be selected from the group of CM members aged 18 and over who gave birth in 2023, 2024 or 2025.
When will this survey take place?
The survey will run throughout October 2026.
Is the survey anonymous?
The questionnaire is completely anonymous. The results will be used solely for this study and will not be passed on to third parties, either within or outside CM. The Gezinsbond and La Ligue des familles will only receive the general, anonymous results (such as averages and percentages).
