Survey on access to health care
Healthcare plays a vital role in people's well-being. When access to care is not guaranteed for everyone, health inequalities can increase. Accessibility is a complex issue involving several factors:
- The ability to recognize health problems early.
- The geographical availability of services.
- Financial accessibility.
- The quality of the relationship between patient and healthcare provider, which must meet people's expectations and needs.
🎯Purpose of the survey
To investigate the barriers some people face in accessing care, CM's research department is launching a large-scale survey. This study aims to better understand the experiences of members so that concrete recommendations can be made to improve access to care in Belgium.
👥 Who will participate?
Participants in the online survey will be randomly selected from CM members aged 18 to 90. The survey will also be distributed through partners, meaning that a number of non-CM members will also participate.
📅 When will this survey take place?
The survey will run from December 1st to 20th, 2025. The selected members have received a personal email invitation.
🔐 Is the survey anonymous?
Yes. Participation is voluntary, and responses are completely confidential.
- The data will be processed exclusively by researchers at the CM research department.
- It will be stored securely and pseudonymized.
- They are never shared with third parties.
- The processing and analysis are carried out solely for scientific purposes within the framework of this study.
